Takaful myHouseowners & Householders is a comprehensive scheme to protect your home, belongings and assets from loss or damage caused by any of the following: 


 

  • Fire, Lightning, Thunderbolt, Subterranean Fire

  • Explosion

  • Aircraft and other aerial device and/or articles dropped wherefrom

  • Impact with any of the buildings by any road vehicles, animals not belonging to or under the control of the participant or his family

  • Bursting or Overflowing of Domestic Water Tanks, Apparatus or Pipes

  • Theft by violent and forcible entry into building.

  • Hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, windstorm

  • Earthquake, Volcanic Eruption

  • Flood


Scope of cover for this scheme is:
Applicable to Houseowner’s (Building):
Loss or damage caused by any of the above perils to the building of the private dwelling house which shall include stables, garages and out-buildings used solely in connection therewith and on the same premises specified in the certificate.

Applicable to Householder’s (Contents):

 

  • Loss or damage caused by any of the above mentioned perils to the contents which includes household goods and personal effects of every description being the property of the participant or any member of the his family normally residing with him

  • Property Temporarily Removed

  • Damage to Mirror other than hand mirror, by breakage whilst in the private dwelling up to RM500

  • Compensation for Death of the Participant due to theft or fire up to RM10,000

  • Servant’s Property

 


Applicable to Houseowners & Householder’s Insurance:

  • Loss of rent up to 10% of the sum covered

  • Liability to the public in respect of accident caused by a defect in the building of the private dwelling house or in the landlord’s fixtures and fittings or in the walls, gates, fences and trees around and pertaining thereto.

 

 

All houseowners’ are eligible to apply for this scheme and you will be rewarded with a 15% Cash Back* should there be no claims within the coverage period.

*Cash Back is subject to company performance and no claims incurred during the coverage period.
